MISSION LOG
Mission Log is a record of disciplined action and real impact. This is where stories are shared. Stories from those who stepped in. Stories from those who were supported. Stories that show what happens when need meets alignment and people choose to act.
Every entry reflects the same principle: when the right people and resources come together with intention, change follows.
TELL US YOUR STORY!
If you were part of a Micro Mission, whether you received support or helped make it happen, tell us about it.
What took place? What did it mean to you? If you are comfortable, share where you’re located. It helps us see where people are stepping up and where impact is taking shape.

We had an incredible time at the Black Feather Christmas event for military veterans and first responders. We had a chance to do something new and exciting. Being face to face with these elephants not only gave us a unique experience, but life lessons to apply. We connected as a family while doing something completely out of the ordinary; Something I thought I could only do in Africa. Our family was in awe as we interacted with these incredible animals. Thank you so much!
I had the patriotic elephant day hosted by The Black Feather Foundation circled on the calendar since mid November. I kept it a secret from my daughter until we got there and there's no way else to put it, but "When you woke up this morning, did you think you would be bathing an elephant?" That's exactly what I asked her and the look of a response was EVERYTHING!!! That's what this was for us—one of those moments that makes completely no sense to be in and in the best way possible. Thank you for a once in a lifetime experience that my daughter thinks happens every Christmas now lol!
The Patriotic Christmas Event hosted by The Black Feather Foundation was such an amazing event! My son loved learning about elephants and being able to feed and bathe them. Jim was so sweet introducing himself and even grabbing water for us and telling my kid where to find the donuts that were as big as his head! Thanks so much for this amazing event!
Attending the Christmas event at the Elephant Ranch with a group of military and first responder families was such and honor. We had the opportunity to pet and wash one of the elephants which was such a surprise! We can’t thank the Black Feather Foundation enough.
