Members of The Black Feather Foundation (TBFF), attended Operations Recovery's Inaugural Golf Tournament hosted at the Westchase Golf Club in Tampa, Fl., April 22, 2023.
TBFF is a 501c(3) charitable tax exempt non-profit organization founded in 2021. TBFF works to collaborate with other Veteran groups and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) to design, build and implement programs to assist with transistion and acclimation of refugees and displaced persons.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Operation Recovery's 2023 initiatives supporting Veterans and Service Members. Operation Recovery and the founders of TBFF played an instrumental role in the evacuation efforts and resettlement of Afghan allies after the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.
Other non-profit Veteran organizations in attendance included Moral Compass and Surf Fire.
