One year ago, President Biden oversaw a disastrous and chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, with little transparency and still no accountability. The way in which he and senior officials in his administration managed the withdrawal was particularly damaging in that Americans and our local allies with Special Immigrant Visas (SIVs) were left in the country- at great risk to their lives- while tens of thousands of unvetted Afghans were brought into the United States illegally.
